With a bespoke name and message, this is one special whisky to add to the collection. Especially since we’ve made a small batch release for the occasion that’s had all the team drooling.
We took four red wine barrels from the Barossa Valley. With minimal intervention, we filled three of these barrels fresh for the big, fresh, jammy red fruit flavours from the red wine barrel. We charred the fourth to add bold, oak characters. It’s created a full-bodied, complex and vibrant taste that’s really impressed the team here and we hope the lucky recipient too.
Aroma : Very aromatic upfront with lots of
fruity wine notes, red berries, Banoffee pie and
toasted vanillin oak.
Palate : Full bodied and oily. Fresh tropical
fruit on the front palate but the oak and dry
spice become more intense on the back palate.
Finish : Long and dry.
