How to wrap a whisky bottle gift

How to wrap a whisky bottle gift

So, you’re gifting someone you love Starward on Friday, 14th February? Excellent choice! They’re going to love it. While the Melbourne-made, award-winning whisky is the star of the show, there’s no reason you can’t get a little creative with wrapping it. Bottles aren’t always the easiest to dress up, but we’ve searched the internet for quick, easy and unexpected ways to wrap your Starward that will delight any lucky recipient. Don’t mind the slightly festive-esque feel to these videos, you can simply opt for wrapping paper that features hearts instead of candy canes. So grab some scissors, fun fabric or paper, and a sprig of greenery from the garden – let’s get crafty!

  1. Using a napkin and some festive ribbon

Up first is a super simple wrapping technique – all you need is a fabric napkin of your choice, a rubber band and some thick and durable ribbon. Hit play to follow along.

  2. Using canvas material and some greenery

Similar to the first video, this handy how-to uses a plain canvas material (like a cheesecloth or even a piece of linen) and some fresh greenery. You don’t have to be too traditional with the greenery you use as decoration – try a sprig of eucalyptus, lavender or bottlebrush for a pop of vibrant colour.

  1.  Using wrapping paper and a simple folding technique

We’re sure you have no shortage of brightly coloured wrapping paper lying around in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day, so grab your favourite roll and cut out a square big enough for a bottle of Starward. Then it’s a matter of folding the paper in a concertina fashion and finishing with some twine and a sprig of dried flowers.
