Led by Head Distiller & Blender Carlie Dyer – whose winemaking roots sparked curiosity from day one.

This release began with a bold idea: co-fermenting malt and grapes to explore what happens when two ancient crafts collide from the very start.

Our distillers combined equal parts freshly crushed Cabernet Sauvignon grape juice with our signature malted barley wash, co-fermented and distilled together.

Then left to mature in American and French Oak red wine barrels for nearly six years. The result? A bright and fruit-forward spirit. 

Smooth, balanced, and full of flavour, this spirit brings together bright notes of blackberry, quince paste, and toffee. A fusion of brandy-like aromas, vibrant fruit character, and a malty body, all finishing with the depth of whisky.

Not whisky. Not wine. But still distinctly Starward.
