Blackberries I Toffee I Quince Paste​

An Australian-first spirit

An experimental new creation that takes us where Starward has never gone before. Crafted from equal parts freshly crushed Cabernet Sauvignon grape juice and malted barley wash, it’s balanced, velvety and bursting with notes of blackberry, quince paste, and toffee.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE:
Blackberries, cinnamon and vanilla.

PALATE:
Fig, blackcurrant and vanilla. ​

FINISH:
Long with flavours of toasted oak, black fruits and chalky tannin.

Where experimentation meets flavour.

Equal parts freshly crushed grape juice (Cabernet Sauvignon) and our signature malted barley wash, before co-fermenting it, distilling it and fully maturing it together in Australian red wine barrels (fresh and charred) for almost six years.
Not whisky. Not wine. But still distinctly Starward.
