Small Batch Munich Malt marks one of Starward's earliest malt experiments. Munich malt by it's very nature is a type of kilned malted barley that has been toasted to develop an array of bready characteristics. Our distillers were inspired by the German amber lagers that use this unique grain, and in true Starward style, were curious to see what would happen when these flavours come together in the form of a Starward whisky.
