Peated Finish I Love Islay Cocktail with Prawn food pairing

I Love Islay

Starward says:
What do you get when you combine a smoky whisky, a French herbal liqueur dating back to 1737 (the Carthusian Monks were fans) and vibrant citrus flavours? You’re about to find out.

Ingredients
45ml (1.5 oz) Peated Finish
10ml (0.4 oz) Yellow Chartreuse
10ml (0.4 oz) Fino sherry
10ml (0.4 oz) Lemon juice
10ml (0.4 oz) Simple syrup
60ml (2 oz) Tonic water

Pull it together
Grab some crushed ice, pop it in a small glass tumbler and pour in the ingredients one by one. Give it a good swivel and top if off with a slice of cucumber to garnish like a pro.

Heart Skips A Peat

Starward says:
The smokiness of the Peated Finish, the sweetness of the pineapple juice and Agave syrup, and just the right amount of lime to balance everything perfectly: a simple lineup of ingredients that delivers on flavour.

Ingredients

40ml (1.4 oz) Peated Finish
10ml (.3 oz) Lime juice
15ml (.5 oz) Agave syrup
80ml (2.7) Pineapple juice

Pull it together
Mix your ingredients in a rocks glass (also known as a ‘lowball’ glass) and garnish with a lime wedge. Like things chilled? Add some ice — you do you!

Sweety Peat-y

Starward says:
When you want to double down on that whisky flavour give this one a go. If Peated Finish is the star, the spices, herbs and honey of the Drambuie (a traditional whisky liqueur) are the backup dancers — and a dash of Cherry Heering is always fun.

Ingredients
45ml (1.5 oz) Peated Finish
20ml (.75 oz) Drambuie
15ml (.5 oz) Cherry Heering

Pull it together

Add your ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with an orange twist. Sip, savour and thank us later.

10ml (.3 oz) Cherry Heering
10ml (.3 oz) Sweet vermouth
2 dashes chocolate bitters

Pull it together
Mix it, pour it (into a coupe glass) and zest it (with some lemon). Tasty!

30 ml (1 oz) Campari
30 ml (1 oz) Sweet Vermouth
